Take part in a dog owner research project
September 9, 2019
If you’re thinking about getting a dog, you could be part of a brand new exciting research project. This is being run by the University of Bristol.
The aim of The UK Dog Project is to learn more about dog ownership in the UK. This includes the decisions we make about getting a dog, to where we get our dogs from.
The research project will follow new dog owners over a two year period. The purpose is to learn more about how we share our lives with dogs.
The University of Bristol is looking to recruit 2000 research participants. To take part you must be 18 years or over and at the stage of thinking about getting a dog, rather than having already got a dog. This can be a puppy or an adult dog, of any breed or type.
You will need to complete a total of four surveys throughout the duration of the research project. These will be emailed to you to complete online.
As a thank you for taking part and completing all four surveys, you will receive a small gift for your dog. In addition, you will be offered the chance to be entered into prize draws at various stages of the research project. You could win up to £100 worth of Amazon vouchers.
